Having an issue loading ESRI Sha

I am trying to start StatPlanet Flash player with my Shapefiles but an error message is being returned as shown below;
Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file:///D|/Reference/General/GIS%20Data/Web%20Based%20Mapping/Web%20Mapping%20Programs/StatPlanet%5FPlus/Shapefile%5Fmap%5F%28ESRI%29/map/map.shp
at com.cartogrammar.shp::ShpMap()
at SHPreader()
What could be the problem?????

This normally occurs if it cannot find the map.shp file in the location you specified, or is unable to open the file. It may not be able to open the file if you have it open in another application for example.
